Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of newly appointed Hungarian Ambassador Zsolt Chutora

President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Zsolt Chutora. 

Ambassador Zsolt Chutora passed along the guard of honor.

The Ambassador presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a conversation with the Ambassador. 

The President said the relations between the two countries had been developing successfully and the bilateral ties were on a high level. Touching upon the importance of recent visit of Hungarian Prime Minister to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence in further enhancement of cooperation.

The President highlighted the importance of relations between the two states both in bilateral cooperation and for cooperation with the European institutions. 

President Ilham Aliyev said he hoped the activities of the ambassador would yield fruitful results and would serve the purpose of bringing the two countries closer.

The President wished success to the Ambassador in his future activities.

Ambassador Zsolt Chutora conveyed the greetings of Hungarian President Paul Schmidt to the President. 

Noting that he had visited Azerbaijan a number of times, the Hungarian diplomat recalled with pride his meeting with national leader Heydar Aliyev. 

The Ambassador said the relations were improving dynamically. Having mentioned that his country attached huge importance to energy cooperation with Azerbaijan, the diplomat noted the importance of projects such as Nabucco and AGRI.

The President expressed his gratitude for greetings of Hungarian President Paul Schmidt and asked his greetings to be conveyed to Hungarian President as well.
