Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening of Saatly-Musaly-Mazrali road after its reconstruction

In the framework of his visit to the region of Saatly, President Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening of Saatly-Musaly-Mazrali highway following its reconstruction.

Representatives of local community greeted warmly the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed about technical and economic parameters of this highway. It was noted that according to the decree signed by the head of state in 2010, overall length of the reconstructed part road is 17 kilometers. Covering 8 living districts of this region, the modern highway will be used by more than 20 thousand local residents.

It was noted that as a result of commissioning of Saatly-Musaly-Mazrali road of local importance, the distance between Saatly and Imishli cities was reduced by 40 kilometers. 14.6 km of highway lies between Saatly city and Mazrali village while 2.4 km is in the territory of Musaly village. Asphalt pavement of 16 cm in depth was laid on the road. Sidewalks were constructed also on the edges of road reconstructed with high quality and in line with modern requirements. Trees and other plants were planted here. Adjacent territory along the road was refurbished. Modern lighting system is installed on the highway. Walk lanes were also restored on the road.

Commissioning of this road will not only create comfortable conditions for easy and safer traffic of vehicle, but demonstrate sustainability of reconstruction work carried out in the region as a result of attention and care of the head of state.

Afterwards, the head of state cut the ribbon demonstrating the symbolic opening of road.
