Ilham Aliyev paid tribute to the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Saatly city

In the framework of the visit to Mugan area, President Ilham Aliyev arrived to the region of Saatly.

Head of state paid tribute to the monument of our people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of Saatly city and laid flowers.

Head of state was informed that one of the projects that attracts attention in the field of reconstruction and greening operations conducted in the region is the Park and Square named after Heydar Aliyev. With its total area of 5.6 hectares, the park and square have become the most preferred resting place of region’s residents. Large scale reconstruction and greening work was carried out here. Fountains are installed in the park. The square with its area exceeding 5 thousand sq. m. got the pavement made of piles depicting national ornaments. Evergreen and decorative trees, flowers were planted here. Greening line is built in the park. Here, there is also the Heydar Aliyev Museum which is open to the public.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction over the work done.
