Ilham Aliyev took part at the ground breaking ceremony of Region’s Central Hospital in Agjabedi

President Ilham Aliyev participated at the ground breaking ceremony of Region’s Central Hospital with the capacity of 205 beds to be constructed on Husu Hajiyev Street in Agjabedi city.

Builders greeted warmly President of Azerbaijan.

Head of state studied the general plan of new hospital to be constructed and watched the stand depicting the projects.

Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev informed President Ilham Aliyev that the hospital compound to be constructed in the territory of 4 hectares will consist of 4 large interlinked buildings and 3 peripheral buildings. Basement of hospital that will be equipped with most modern equipment will locate laundry and kitchen. The ground floor will have reception, gynecology and maternity departments, children policlinics and otolaryngology. The first floor will consist of observation room, surgeon operations room, resuscitation department, intensive therapy, children surgeon and therapy departments. The second floor will provide services thanks to medical restoration center, cardiology and therapy departments. The third floor will locate maternity and surgeon unit, therapy rooms and a conference hall.

Another differing feature of hospital urgent surgeon operation will be provided for patients. Their swift transportation by helicopter will help to escort patients from one place to another. Helicopter pad will be installed on the roof of hospital. It is also envisaged to have a parking for vehicles of medical staff and citizens in the yard.

It was reported to President Ilham Aliyev that besides Agjabedi residents, it will be also possible to extend high level services to the residents of neighboring regions. The relevant work will be carried out go to attract highly professional medical staff to the hospital. Afterwards, head of state released the metallic capsule into the basement and put into motion concrete pouring machine.

President Ilham Aliyev talked with builders and gave his recommendations and instructions.
