President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the layout of the square to be established outside the Kimyachi Culture Center named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, which is part of the AzerKimya Production Unit of the State Oil Company.
The head of state was informed that the Kimyachi Culture Center was commissioned in 1986. Since then the square in front of the center has been a venue for various activities of national and municipal importance. This is the most spacious square in the center of Sumgayit.
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the layout of the square, toured the area and gave instructions relating to the establishment of a new infrastructure here.
Then the head of state was familiarized with the Kimyachi Culture Center.
It was indicated that there is a 1,063-seat concert hall on the first floor of the three-storey building and a small 204-seat meeting room on the second. There are 16 amateur talent groups in 56 available working and learning rooms. A total of 350 teenagers are attending them.
The President reviewed the center’s concert hall and gave relevant instructions relating to reconstruction.
