Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Park of Heroes in Oguz

As part of a visit to Oguz District, President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Park of Heroes.

The head of state laid flowers at a statue erected in the park.

It was indicated that the Park of Heroes, the construction of which commenced in July 2011, covers an area of 8,400 square meters. It has all the conditions for people’s recreation.

It was mentioned that extensive landscaping work had been carried out in the park, green sections set up on an area of 5,000 square meters and a modern lighting system installed. There is also the Veteran café here. The edges of the fountains in the Park of Heroes are covered with natural granite.

An area of 600 square meters in the park has also been coated with natural granite, two small playgrounds covering 2,000 square meters and paths created.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done.
