Ilham Aliyev reviewed work under way in and around the State Flag Square

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have reviewed work under way in connection with the construction of the section of the Baku-Alat highway to the State Flag Square, the establishment of a new boulevard and measures being taken in and around the State Flag Square.

The President was informed about the work under way in connection with the construction of the section of the Baku-Alat highway to the State Flag Square. It was indicated that a high-quality 8-lane highway meeting modern standards was under construction. In order to ensure the safety of pedestrians, crossings will be built along the road.

The head of state was also informed of the work carried out on the new boulevard under construction.

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva examined the landscaping and creative work under way in and around the State Flag Square. The President was informed about the work done.

The President and his wife also reviewed the construction of a Sport and Concert Complex at the site. After examining the construction work, President Ilham Aliyev gave appropriate instructions to contractors.
