Ilham Aliyev participated at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Ganja

President Ilham Aliyev took part at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Center in the city of Ganja.

President Ilham Aliyev has got familiarized with the project of the Heydar Aliyev Center. It was noted that the Triumph Arch with width of 20 meters, length of 50 meters and height of 36 meters near the Center. The square around the Triumph Arch will be at the level of 30 meters above ground. 2 elevators and stairs will be installed to get access to the square.

It was reported that the total area of three storied building of the Center is 4.500 square meters. The ground floor will accommodate the exhibition hall, the first floor will host the excursion hall reflecting the history of Azerbaijan and the contemporary development as well as electronic and ordinary library. The second floor will have auxiliary rooms, conference hall and the meeting hall for 400 persons.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the first stone of the Center.

Head of state press the button to put into motion the concrete mixing platform.

President of Azerbaijan gave his instructions and recommendations to ensure the high quality construction of the Center.
