President Ilham Aliyev has participated at the opening of a new administrative building of Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Goranboy regional branch.
Head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of this building.
It was reported that the building construction has started in November 2010. The yard of this two storied building with total area of four hundred square meters has the portray of great leader and YAP founder Heydar Aliyev, while the first floor features his bust. Photos are exhibited around the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President of Azerbaijan, YAP Chairman Ilham Aliyev demonstrating their participation at the Party congresses. In general, the office building has 9 rooms and a conference hall. The conference hall with capacity for 80 seats can host various nationwide and local events. All conditions are created at these rooms to run effective activities. The use of ICT has been noted in particular. All rooms have necessary equipment. The modern air ventilation and other systems are installed in the building that can meet requirements for any season of the year. The greening work was carried out in the yard of building.
It was noted that the Party regional branch was founded with the participation of 38 primary territorial organizations in January of 1995. 33 percent of members of the regional branch are young people. 51 percent of total number is female members of the party.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction over the work done and gave his instructions and recommendations.
