Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Creativity Center in Jalilabad

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Creativity Center built near a recreation park in Jalilabad.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.

It was noted that the construction of the center began last year. Construction has been carried out using internal resources. The building with a total area of 1,200 square meters is built in an interesting architectural style.

There are photo stands on the first floor of the center describing the visits of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to Jalilabad District. The pictures suggest that the socioeconomic development of Jalilabad District has always been the focus of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

The “Janub palitrasi” art studio on the first floor displays drawings and items made by local youth. There is a fine art club here. Young people are also taught the subtleties of wood carving, knitting and making crafts using the seeds of various fruits. The center operates classes where young people can learn national and modern dance. The computer classroom is fitted with modern equipment. Lessons at a local photo studio will allow young people to learn the secrets of this art and filming. The foreign languages studio will provide lessons in four languages using modern linguistic equipment.

The carpet-weaving studio will enable youngsters to master the traditions of Azerbaijani carpet weaving and understand the secrets of this ancient art. Jalilabad youths are particularly interested in the mugham studio. It will provide extensive information about renowned singers and composers and teach the subtleties of the Azerbaijani mugham, which is included in the world cultural heritage list.

The center will also operate a “Young mothers” studio where young mothers will be taught how to cook dishes of the Azerbaijani cuisine and do housekeeping. In the fashion studio, young women will learn the skills of knitting and sewing.

It was noted that there is a great need for such centers in the country’s districts today. In line with the government policy, measures in this direction are becoming widespread.
