President Ilham Aliyev has attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a new building of the Bahmatli village secondary school named after martyr Aladdin Javadov in Zagatala District.

The President first laid a wreath at the bust of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev on the premises of the school under construction.

The President reviewed the stand reflecting the future appearance of the school. It was noted that as a result of the earthquake in the north-western region of the country in early May of this year, the building of the Bahmatli village secondary school became unusable. A modern three-storey secondary school comprised of three buildings and intended for 600 pupils will be built in its place.

It was indicated that the school would have all the conditions for the organization of education at a high level. The school is scheduled for commissioning at the end of this year.

The head of state laid the foundation of the school building.

President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions on completing the construction in a quality manner.

Then the President had a discussion with school teachers.

The teachers thanked the President of Azerbaijan.
