From Sanan Huseynzadeh, Baku, Azerbaijan

Dear Mr. President,

By this letter I want to thank you for the feelings of joy and pride I have had as a citizen of this country in the last several days.

People generally tend to raise their complaints with the government in every undesirable situation. But I think that the letters of gratitude for the delightful decision you have taken as the head of state are necessary. In this case, they are a measure of solidarity between the people and the President. I have no doubt that the release of Ramil Safarov was initiated by the state. By your decision you, as President who has earned the love of the President, you proved again that you are the head of a strong state that has defended a brave officer who sacrificed his own freedom in protecting the honor of our people and government. You are a far-sighted politician who thinks about the future of this state and the government.

The Azerbaijani people are extremely happy to see the successes you have achieved in the international arena in recent years. I dream of the day when you, drawing on the power of our state, the will and determination of our people, will liberate Karabakh in the near future and give us boundless joy.

Sincerely,

Sanan Tofig oglu Huseynzadeh
