President Ilham Aliyev received the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic Franco Frattini.
During the meeting it was noted about the importance of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum in the strengthening of interstate cooperation, as well as the growth of interest to the Forum.
The sides exchanged their views on the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, the confidence in further strengthening of these relations, and discussed the issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy and Azerbaijan and European Union.
