Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the “Chiragan” Palace.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two states in various fields. The sides also deliberated upon the current state of the talks over regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Cooperation with Turkey in the field of energy, including development of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and “Shahdeniz” projects and regional issues were discussed.
The importance of the high-level Strategic Cooperation Council, to be established between Azerbaijan and Turkey, for further strengthening of relations was noted during the meeting.
