As part of a visit to the southern region of Azerbaijan, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Lankaran city

The President laid flowers at the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev at a memorial park.

The head of the Executive Authority, TalehGarashov, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the reconstruction of the Heydar Aliyev memorial park. It was noted that construction work in the park began in September 2012 and was completed in May 2013. The leisure center covering a total area of 27,500 square meters has been extensively landscaped. The area around the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the memorial park has been laid with granite slabs. The park’s lighting system has also been fully upgraded and three fountainsrepaired.
