President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Jalilabad-Hamargishlag-Sadatli village road.

The President reviewed the stands describing the technical parameters of the road.

It was indicated that the 17-km Jalilabad-Hamargishlag-Sadatli road would contribute a lot to the solution of the problem of roads for 24,000 residents of 14 settlements. The road, which could only be used in the summer before, has been completely renovated to international standards. The construction has been implemented in accordance with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 9 March 2012. The amount of 3 million manats was allocated. The construction was carried out by “İnşaat Servis YKT” CJSC.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the road.

It was noted that the width of the 4th-grade road is eight meters. Depending on the location, a section of the road 5.2-6 meters wide is coated in asphalt and two meters is the shoulder.

The speed limit on the road has been set at 50-100 kilometers per hour. Along the road there are 32 water discharge outlets and three culverts in the form of bridges. Quarry materials were used in the road construction of the roadbed. The bottom layer of the roadbed is also filled with quarry material. Since the road had previously fallen into the landslide area, plots 12-28 meters in height have been dug and the road distanced from the landslide area by 50 meters. The road is coated with two layers of asphalt, covering a total area of 90,000 square meters. The road meets modern standards and facilitates unimpeded movement of vehicles and pedestrians at any time of year.

Along the Jalilabad-Hamargishlag-Sadatli road President Ilham Aliyev met with local residents.

Local residents thanked the President for the attention and care.

President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the residents on the opening of the new road and gave instructions and recommendations.
